When the world goes mad…

I think one of the most important things we can practice when the world goes mad is to remind ourselves, each day of good things, true things. When so much is in flux, it is so important for us to carve out intentional time every day, multiple times a day, to remind ourselves of the things that haven’t changed because of a global virus.

I have come back, over and over and over again in the last few days to my favorite quote from any book. It comes from Brennan Manning in the Ragamuffun Gospel. He says this:

He is not moody or capricious; He knows no seasons of change. He has a single relentless stance toward us: He loves us.

Brennan Manning

Things are wild.  And yet, the Father knows no season of change.  He has not shifted his stance toward us. You are loved right smack dab in the middle of the madness.

You are loved.

You are loved.

You are loved.
