Vineyard Springbrook Update on In-Person Worship

In-Person Sunday morning services paused for the rest of the year.

It’s cold outside! So we are stopping our in-person service at 10am, but we’ll continue hosting services online each week at 10:00 am.

Since we value meeting together, each week we will offer an in-person, Advent gathering at 5:00 pm on Sunday, Dec. 13 & 20.

Beginning Sun, January 3 at 10am, we will be meeting in-person, indoors in the AMS auditorium!

Our plan for the rest of the year:

We will continue hosting our services online at 10:00am each week. We love seeing and interacting with you on the chat or via text during the service! vineyardspringbrook.online.church

We still want to meet together safely when it’s a little warmer in the afternoon. We’ll be gathering Sundays at 5pm for something we call Advent Together:

  • 12/6 Lessons & Carols at Maryville Amphitheater
This is a joint gathering with Church of the Redeemer and First Baptist Maryville.
  • 12/13 Communion & Candles at Alcoa Middle School
A short in-person gathering to light advent candles, pray and take communion together.
  • 12/20 Communion & Candles at Alcoa Middle School
A short in-person gathering to light advent candles, pray and take communion together.
  • 12/27 No Church Online -OR- Evening Gathering

Christmas Eve Plans

We gather together one last time in 2020 for our Christmas Eve celebrations, and we would love for you to join us!

  • 5pm Outdoor Service at Alcoa Middle School Parking Lot
  • 5pm Online Service at vineyardspringbrook.online.church
  • 9pm Carols & Communion at Alcoa Middle School Auditorium
A short gathering with St. Brendan’s Anglican parish.

As always, you can find almost any information you need (announcements, kids videos, giving) on vineyardchurch.info/springbrook. Also, please follow our social media for all kinds of updates and information! Facebook and Instagram.

We love you all and can’t wait to be together again. Please know that we have been asking the Holy Spirit to fill us with wisdom, kindness, and courage as we make decisions. I truly mean this–if you have any questions or thoughts or concerns—or ways we can help or pray for you!—please feel free to email me. I’m grateful for each of you and miss you very much.

Thank you for showing up in so many ways as the church for the last few months. Thank you for giving so generously–to both our church and to the community. I know that there will be a new normal moving forward, but I am just so glad and grateful to go with you.

May the peace of Christ rule in your hearts and minds today!

Love,
Lindsay Mizell
Venue Pastor
